The Society publishes a bi-monthly bulletin. Each issue contains essays about C. S. Lewis and his works as well as summaries of the colorful discussions during the last NYCSL society meeting. View the the Jan-Feb 2003 issue featuring "C.S. Lewis and Pacifism", by Robert W. Merchant.

How can you participate?
  • Subscribe. You may like to receive our bulletin on a regular basis, send us your annual subscription along with your check (drafted on a US bank) to our secretary.Foreign payments for subscriptions or backorders must be in US dollars only.

    You may consider helping with the Society's expenses beyond the basic fee. Amounts above the subscription are tax deductable: $15 dollars for a contributing membership and $25 for a sustaining membership.

  • Order Back Issues. You may order back issues of the bulletin. Prices are as follows: Issues no.1-10 are sold as a package for $10. 8 page issues are $2, 10-14 page issues are $3, 16 page issues are $4, and issues with 24 or more pages are $7. Postage is included with orders mailed to a US address.

  • Submission. Articles for publication will be considered by sending them to the editor. Microsoft Word files are preferred. MLA intext references or, alternately, endnotes (no footnotes) are required for articles. Book reviews subject to approval should be no longer than 500 words. We have decided on Lewis' for the possessive for Lewis (not Lewis's). Similarly, Sayers' and Williams'.

Nicknamed “The Bird and the Baby”, this English pub is where Lewis, Tolkien, and their friends met regularly for pipes and beer between 1939 and 1962.
